As you can see Lizzy is heading in his direction to give him a few pointers on night time photography.

Lizzy checks out the new swimming pool and its fishy inhabitants after a successful reverse emergency bucket transfer at the weekend.

Luckily Chris was unable to capture me on video taking a wet face-plant in the former temporary fish accommodation, OK so I thought the trough was empty and I just leapt in , an easy mistake. I'm a stunt cat sometimes things go wrong !!

Now all the construction is finished and the deck cleared the way is open for the great red spot catching challenge, we have been limbering on the lounge carpet during the add breaks on TV . I don't know where it comes from , there's just that "click".

Lizzy has developed this real thing for fish food. This is what happened when she tired to scoop it off the top of the temporary pond, whoops, not quite the firm footing she was expecting. All the foreign friends (just out of frame) fell over laughing.

Where the pond was...whoops, note the "rescue bucket" Posted by Picasa

Disaster strikes party during the lets “ impress our overseas guests with a pond swim” episode…..

Lizzy and I are in big trouble with Chris because he thinks that while we were doing the 4.00 metre dash in the pond to show how quick we are that we accidentally ripped the pond liner and caused a lot of the water to drain away. We said it was just the pond chugging but then the loss of a couple of cubic metres of water does seem a lot even for us to drink!
Good news is that there are more fish than we thought which was discovered during the dramatic rescue mission. Fifteen fish were found and placed in a cattle trough dragged on to the deck.

The fish seem happy enough and will be much easier to reach now they are only in 300 litres of water instead of their normal 4000.

Friday night and the party rages on, we have ripped up a bit of catmint and have been passing it around .

Lizzys' found Reenas' camera and done a self portrait, she has however failed to grasp the concept of the self timer, thus cementing me firmly in my position as "the smart one" .

Bob signing out , or is that passing out (from exhaustion ) at my party .zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
